Assistant Principal's Message
Welcome to Guy Emanuele, Jr. Elementary School, Home of the Tigers! My name is Ms. Angela Morariu, and I am very excited to have been selected to assist Dr. Green in leading our talented team of teachers and support staff this year.
Guy Emanuele, Jr. Elementary is a diverse learning community where we celebrate the rich cultural heritages of our students and families. We strive to work in partnership with our families to enhance the learning experiences and academic achievement of our students. We host monthly family nights where parents, students, and their siblings come together to read, dance, listen to stories, create artwork, and spend time together as a family. We are also working to develop partnerships with local businesses and sports teams, such as Baskin-Robbins and the Oakland A’s to fundraise, so we can provide our students with educational field trips and assemblies throughout the year. In addition, we are fortunate to have a community outreach facilitator, Mrs. Gina Pacaldo, who is instrumental in keeping our staff informed of our families’ needs and in generating ideas and resources for meeting those needs. We believe that in continuing to develop partnerships with our community, we will only become stronger as an educational team.
